We are living in a time of rapidly changing security environment. Natural crises, conflicts and changing economic outlooks are forcing governments to adopt. But technological disparity is creating tensions between superpowers and smaller nations that are worried on not only becoming too reliant on foreign proprietary technology, but also diverting value add from their economy due to the rise of data and platform economics. How can states navigate these challenges, and where will this lead to? In a collaboration between public and private sector and academia, Nortal and Oxford Internet Institute, University of Oxford and Estonian government technology leaders created a report of recommendations to navigate these challenges to increase government resilience in the digital age. The collaborative report will be published during the Tallinn Digital Summit.
