The inaugural panel of the Tallinn Digital Summit 2024 brings together distinguished global leaders to explore the multifaceted dimensions of digital transformation through critical political, technological, and regulatory perspectives. Following keynote addresses by the Prime Minister and our opening keynote guest, this high-level dialogue will offer a comprehensive, 360-degree perspective on digital leadership, examining how national priorities intersect with regional dynamics and global imperatives in shaping our shared digital future.

Through the strategic lens of Digital Europe and Kenya’s extraordinary digital journey, the panel will address the evolving challenges and opportunities in responsible AI deployment, digital infrastructure development, and cyber resilience. This executive discussion will explore how Europe can foster pan-European and global competitiveness, and how nations can lead with innovative approaches to digital transformation, while also recognising Africa’s growing influence in global digital governance and technology innovation.

The panel will place particular emphasis on the ways in which diverse political leadership styles across regions are shaping responses to common challenges in cybersecurity, digital economy development, and technological sovereignty.
